On 15th August 2022, the AuditComply team will make a short trip across the Atlantic, traveling from Ireland to St John’s, Canada to speak at the World Aquaculture Society (WAS) 2022 Conference. Hosted by WAS, Aquaculture Association of Canada (AAC) and Newfoundland Aquaculture Industry Association (NAIA), the conference is due to welcome globally recognized delegates and speakers from various aspects of aquaculture, including presentations regarding digital innovations in the space and the crucial role they are playing in supply chain governance.
St John’s is home to internationally recognized centers in aquaculture and fisheries science, and some of the most ecologically interesting areas in the world. The ideal location to learn about the latest in aquaculture. Accommodating 100 booths replete with industry leaders, the largest aquaculture trade event in Canada will also feature special sessions, several symposia and workshops on the science, technology, business and social aspects of the industry.
The AuditComply team are thrilled to be speaking at the event, delivering a presentation on the importance of Risk and Quality Management in the seafood industry. We aim to enlighten attendees on how our GRC Management platform can greatly encourage aquaculture business success, aiding efficiency through the many complex industry pressures we see today.
Social events, including the Dr. Joe Brown BBQ and silent auction, a Newfoundland kitchen party and an evening Gala dinner, will pose as excellent opportunities for the team to engage and network with other industry professionals, current and new customers.
